Worldwide context

See your step total alongside walkers in every country, not just an empty progress bar.

FAQ

What is a step tracker?

A step tracker counts how many steps you take in a day. Global Steps is a step tracker plus a live global leaderboard — every step you log is ranked against walkers worldwide on rolling 24-hour, 7-day, and 30-day windows.

Do I need an Apple Watch to use this step tracker?

No. Your iPhone already tracks steps via its motion coprocessor. Apple Watch makes the count more accurate, but it's optional.

How accurate is the step tracker?

Step counts come from Apple Health, so accuracy matches Apple's own Health app. If you wear an Apple Watch, both step sources feed in automatically.

Can I see step history?

Yes. Global Steps shows step trends for the last 90 days and 12 months, plus your rank history over the same periods.

A step tracker that actually motivates.

Free on iPhone. Apple Health required.
